The awards are also designed to celebrate the success, talent, achievements and outstanding contribution made by women in the West Midlands including to enterprise, education, the creative industries, technology and civic society.

Justice Williams MBE and Founder of the West Midlands Woman of the Year awards, said…

“Women contribute so much to society but many real life role models are predominantly obscured from the mainstream media. I believe it is important to celebrate those within the West Midlands who are creating real change.  I believe we all know at least one amazing woman who deserves some recognition for their hard work and it is important for young women and girls to be inspired by real life women”.

The star studded Awards ceremony takes place on the 2nd July at the Hyatt Hotel in Birmingham City Centre and Eileen said “We are absolutely delighted to be recognised for our contribution to Society.  Saving lives and adding years to life is something we are passionate about and this Award would be the icing on the cake, in an already very successful year”.
