Driver Medicals

What Tests are Involved in a Driver’s Medical?

Your Blood Pressure and Eyesight will be examined and you will be asked about your Health, especially any conditions which may affect your ability to drive a large vehicle safely. The Medical will last approximately 20 minutes. The DVLA will make the decision about whether or not you are fit to drive a lorry or bus and their decision will be based on the information provided in your HGV driver medical.
